Santa Fe

It was time for another girls trip with Dana and Megan!  We wanted to go somewhere different, but couldn't go too far because Dana's six months prego and I'm saving up for Hawaii, so we decided on Santa Fe.  Not really sure why, but that's where we went.  I could see where it would probably be really pretty in the spring, summer, fall, but it wasn't too pretty in February and was pretty cold.  It was just very brown.  All the trees were dead for winter, and all the buildings are brown and adobe-style.  Luckily, we stayed at an awesome resort, La Posada, and that made up for the city.  We had massages, spent hours in the spa, went to the Chef's reception, had S'mores, cookies, apple cider and hot chocolate in the lobby, wonderful, free breakfasts and a great room.  We also went for a run (Dana's still runnign - she's amazing!), shopped at antique stores and flea markets, and ate at some great restaurants.  Plus, the three of us got to catch up and that's always the best!  I even taught Day and Meg to play Nertz, my family's crazy card game.  Love these girls and love that when we first met 10 years ago, we had three kids between the three of us, now Dana's about to have #13!
