2 Months

Caroline is two months old today. Hard to believe the time is going by so fast. She's getting more and more social, sweet, and chunky. We love it. I think she even gave me my first 6 hour stretch on Saturday night too, not sure though because I have a hard time remembering what happens between 10pm - 7am. Here are some pics from the past couple weeks.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend. Didn't do anything especially exciting, but since we didn't get to go out of town, I treated it a little as a vacation and hardly cooked a single meal. : ) The twins were in the Summerlin Patriotic Parade again this year, but were much happier with their characters. Last year they were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, this year they got to be Mario and Luigi. My sister, Traci, is one of the people who puts on the parade every year, and I'm always impressed at how well it turns out. There's always such a great patriotic spirit there, especially when the national anthem is sung and the Gold and Blue Star Mothers walk by. I am so grateful to live in this country!

Blessing Day

Caroline was blessed last Sunday. All three girls were blessed in this dress and I just love it. My mom made the blanket and all five children have been blessed with it. Bud gave Caroline a beautiful blessing. My favorite part of it was that he blessed Caroline would have a special relationship with me and that she would have the self-confidence to make good decisions. Caroline's Hawaiian middle name is Kei (pronounced Kay), which means "one's pride and glory". I am absolutely thrilled we got this picture of her smiling in her dress. It's my favorite thing she does right now.
