Warming Trend

Last week got pretty hot with temps reaching almost 90.  Of course, this warranted the kids wanting to swim because as soon as it gets hot, Las Vegans hop in pools.  We mentioned that the pool was still freezing, but the kids didn't care and I even offered the first one to jump in $5.  Shockingly, it was Mae.  Jake got in and stayed in for a long time (that kid is impervious to cold water).  This happened a couple of days last week.  Before they swam, the kids had been playing outside, picking "wishers" (dead dandelions) and Mae tried to teach Caroline had to blow them.  It was hilarious, because she kept putting her mouth right on it and getting the seeds stuck to her lips.
