Gilcrease Orchards

At the end of September, the Wenger's invited us to go to Gilcrease Orchards with them to pick out our pumpkins.   The Wenger's son, Bradley is really good friends with the twins.  He had invited the boys to his birthday party earlier in the year.  When I dropped of the twins, I realized that his dad looked a little familiar.  He quickly explained he had pined after Tara before Pete came into the picture.  I recognized the story and thought how funny it was that our kids were now friends.  In fact, Bradley and the twins have referred to each other as "almost cousins", much to Tara's chagrin.

Anyway, it was the first day they were open for the fall season so we had good pickins'.  It was a beautiful day and a really fun experience and made Vegas feel a little more country.
